I found my passion for the IT Industry very young - my first IT job was as an AOL Customer Support Technician in 1999. I decided to join the Air Force at 21 *BEST DECISION EVER*!!
I began my Air Force career in 2002 shortly after the devastating attacks on the WTC in NYC, more determined than ever to serve my country!! After 8 years of service I received an Honorable Discharge and worked 2 years for General Dynamics as a Service Desk Support Network Technician, during my 2.5 years with GD I also worked as an Asset Manager/Change Management Coordinator and was involved with a major upgrade to the Service Desk Software Suite. The previous toolset was archaic and replaced with HP Service Manager Suite of tools (Request, Incident, Change, Problem, and a Knowledgebase). I worked side by side with the development team to design the software to meet the specific needs of our organization. I also created training manuals and help guides for the Service Desk technicians and personally trained each one as well in using the new software. My next job was a Software Developer developing the same HP Service Desk Software and additionally earned certification to develop and integrate not only HP products but also Cherwell - a cloud platform designed for the same uses! I worked as a Consultant/ Sr. Consultant from 2012 through 2016, and held several positions including SW Development, Documentation Development, Training, Customer communication/coordination, Requirements Gathering, Business Development and Program Management. That led me to my next job of 7 years as a Program Planning Expert, then Manager juggling several multi-billion dollar govt contracts as well as managing several team members, becoming their primary trainer and subject matter expert. Desiring more flexibility in life, I decided to start my own LLC serving both local families and businesses in a variety of Technology needs (the lists are still growing)!! In my spare time (ha,ha) I also freelance as a 1099!
